Flyers and Printed Cardstock
Uncoated, Smooth & Gloss Options for Professional Print Materials
Our Flyers and Printed Cardstock are designed for businesses that need reliable, high-quality printed materials without unnecessary complexity. Whether you need lightweight flyers or a more substantial cardstock feel, we offer a range of paper weights and finishes to match your project.
We primarily print on premium uncoated smooth stocks that deliver a natural, professional appearance. These papers have a soft surface with a subtle, refined texture and a slight natural sheen—not glossy, but not flat like copier paper. The result is clean, readable print that feels intentional and professional in the hand.
Text Weight vs Cover Stock
Choosing between text weight and cover stock comes down to how your piece will be used.
Text weight paper is lighter and more flexible, similar to a high-quality brochure or letterhead. It’s ideal when you need something easy to distribute in larger quantities, such as flyers, handouts, or mailers. It folds easily, stacks well, and is typically the most economical option for high-volume printing.
Cover stock (cardstock) is thicker and more rigid. It has a noticeable “card-like” feel that communicates quality and durability. This is a better choice when you want your printed piece to feel more substantial—such as postcards, premium flyers, invitations, or mini menus that are meant to last longer or stand out.
Smooth vs Gloss Finish
We offer both uncoated smooth and gloss options depending on the look you want.
Uncoated smooth is our most common business finish. It has a natural feel with excellent readability and a soft surface that is easy to write on. It keeps colors clean and professional without being overly shiny or reflective, making it ideal for business environments and manufacturing use.
Gloss finish is coated and designed to make colors appear more vibrant and visually bold. It has a light reflective surface and works best when your design relies heavily on photos or bright marketing graphics. It is less ideal for writing, but strong for attention-grabbing promotional pieces.
Common Uses
This product works well for a wide range of flat printed materials, including flyers, heavy flyers, postcards, flat invitations, and mini menus. It is a versatile option for both everyday business printing and more polished marketing pieces.
Important: Folded Items Belong in Brochures
If your design includes any type of fold—such as a half-fold, tri-fold, or z-fold—it should be ordered through our Brochures product instead.
Folded pieces require additional production steps like scoring and finishing adjustments to ensure the fold stays clean and does not crack. Because of this, they are handled separately from flat flyers and cardstock.
As a simple rule:
If it folds, it belongs in Brochures. If it stays flat, it belongs here.
Size, Options & Ordering
We offer standard sizes like 8.5×11 and 5.5×8.5 in both vertical and horizontal layouts, along with custom sizing upon request.
Printing is available in full color or black and white, single or double-sided, with flexible quantity options for both short runs and larger production jobs. Most standard orders under 10,000 pieces are produced in approximately 2–5 business days after proof approval, with rush options available when needed.
Simple Rule of Thumb
- Uncoated Smooth = professional + natural + business-focused
- Gloss = bold + vibrant + promotional
Important: For Folded Items Choose Brochures or Folded Cards
If your project includes a fold—such as a half-fold, tri-fold, or z-fold—it should be ordered through our Brochures product, not Flyers & Printed Cardstock.
This is important because folded pieces require:
- Scoring (to prevent cracking on the fold)
- Additional setup and finishing steps
- Different production handling than flat flyers or cardstock
